life is indeed grand!

"U" over at Any way I have to awarded me the Life Is Grand Award.

The "U" recently paid his first visit here, so this made receiving this award extra special. Meeting and developing friendships with so many people who have important messages to share is part of what gives me motivation and inspiration! The "U"'s blog is a very interesting read, so please pay him a visit soon!

In keeping with the rules of this award, I am going to share with you five reasons why my life is grand, as well as pass this along to five more Grand Bloggers. So in no particular order for both my reasons and the recipients:

Life Is Grand Because:
  • I am with a man who loves and accepts me at every level and tells me so every single day. It doesn't get any better than that.

  • My family has been fortunate to survive financially during these troubled times.

  • I have been blessed to stay home to raise our three children and that I can see (most days) the benefits this has given them.

  • I am a fabulous cook, because boy, do I love great food!

  • And finally Life is Grand because God guides myself and my family through this life and blesses us each day.
The Blogger's I want to pass this along to are:

Trisha at Papercages She is talented, very funny and a great friend.

Elizabeth at My One Love Life She also writes about interracial relationships in her very positive and thought provoking blog.

Carole King at Missing Ingredient Coaching She knows all about seeing what is grand in life. She is a source of inspiration and positive influence to all she meets.

Heidi at Kingdom Treasures She is a descriptive story teller who keeps you on your seat when sharing her families story about their quest to share Kingdom Treasures in so many ways.

Zen at Zen's Sekai I He is a brilliant man who knows a lot about a lot. I am a new reader of his blog, and am fascinated by his accomplishments and his passion for all that he does.

Please visit these blogs and thank you again, my new friend, The "U".

Great post! You do have a grand life. You have everything this life has to offer. Too bad other people get so wrapped up in their jobs and trying to impress other people. They let money and power blind them and forget about what's important in life. Great post! Keep up the good work!

Peace!

Life IS grand!

Wonderful blog! I raised my son from a bi-racial relationship alone. But he's in touch with his Puerto Rican side. I was often asked "is he adopted" or other stupid questions to indicate he didn't belong. Rage was difficult to keep down because of the ignorance in our society. We are definitely in a society of cowards. We need to talk MORE about race and realize we are all the same and not segregate due to the tone of our skin or heritage.

BTW I found you through AI. Try Condron.us and FiddleWiddle too for increasing blog traffic. Between the 3 I have obtained a great number more readers.

God bless you
Dee
